It all started with an idea…

How do we grow into relationships with our neighbors? We offer ministries for the community, but do we really know our neighbors- their stories, their hopes, their struggles? Inspired by a congregation in Independence, MO, we decided to try hosting a "Neighborhood Grill." The concept was simple- we set out tables, rolled out our grill, and cooked food. Rather than being tied down with busy work during the event, this model gave us each an opportunity to be fully present, eating with our neighbors, and fully engaging in relationship. The momentum for this event has grown, and we see new faces each time we gather. The experience has been a blessing, and aligns with our evolving identity as a church that seeks to exist not only for the neighborhood but, in the neighborhood.

We meet the FIRST WEDNESDAY of every month from 6-8 PM. We hope you can join us for our next Neighborhood Grill!

Upcoming Dates: (All dates currently TBD)
