Every day in Community of Christ, a prayer for peace is held for a different nation in the Temple sanctuary of our international headquarters. This daily practice is a witness to Community of Christ's commitment to the Pursuit of Peace. See more info on the Daily Prayer for Peace. 

At Orange Community of Christ, we engage in the Prayer for Peace each Sunday during worship, but also hold a "Prayer for Peace in the Neighborhood" every Thursday morning at 8:00 AM in our sanctuary. We uphold the worth of each person in our community, and pray for the vision to take action as peace-makers. If you are on your commute to work, in another city, or even still in bed, we invite you to join us in pausing on Thursday mornings to engage in the powerful practice of prayer. If you join us at the church, we usually follow our time of prayer spent working in the Peace Garden.
